Sweden is providing SEK 25 million to earthquake-stricken Venezuela.
The two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.2 and 7.5 , killed more than 1,700 people, on the 24th of June, in the coastal state of La Guaira and Caracas.
The funds will be used towards the distribution of food packages, access to clean water, temporary emergency shelter, the protection of vulnerable groups and the reunification of children and families who have been separated.
The support is split between the World Food Programme, the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and Save the Children.
