Part of the N4 will be closed on Sunday the 15th June, from 08am until 5pm, between Simon Vermooten and Solomon Mahlangu interchanges.
The closure is to upgrade the eastern grid of Tshwane, to better electricity supply.
The City of Tshwane said high voltage conductors will be strung across the N4, as part of the Waltloo-Njala Transmission Line Project.
The project is a partnership of the City’s energy and electricity department, roads agency -SANRAL and the local police and traffic department -JMPD.
