Some areas of Johannesburg, have little or no water, on Friday.
Johannesburg Water (JW) said in at least three updates, some suburbs do not have water, due to poor pressure in Hursthill 2.
JW said its technical teams have been at it, since yesterday, to try and restore water to the reservoir’s supply area.
However, the time of restoration, could not be confirmed.
Another reservoir, with dwindling water levels, is the Palmiet-Klipfontein.
JW said the reservoirs are under strain.
The Grand Tower is literally empty, while the Grand Central is functioning at 50%.
As a result, the Water Board, said in an update, it is working at alternative plans of supply.
