27 people have died and more than 30,000 evacuated in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The Sepulveda Pass and a portion of the 405 is now closed.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Spokesperson, Margaret Stewart, said there is currently a forecast for high winds and dry conditions, creating high fire danger in the City of Los Angeles.
As a result, the Los Angeles Fire Department has declared a citywide Red Flag Alert with temporary street parking restrictions in designated areas.
The Palisades and Eaton Fires, in Los Angeles County, began on the January 7, 2025.
The Palisades fire has burned over 23,713 acres and is currently 63% contained, while the Eaton Fire has affected more than 14,021 acres with 89% containment.
There are also two active fires in San Diego- the Lilac Fire, covering 85 acres and about 35% contained, and the Friars Fire.
