Jenique Botha, recently crowned Miss Earth South Africa 2025, is heading to Manila, Philippines, to represent the country, thanks to Cathay Pacific Airlines.
Botha will be competing with 82 contestants for the Miss Earth SA crown.
Since her crowning in May, Botha has worked with the Elephants Alive Organization, to capture stats and data of abandoned elephants.
She has also planted trees as part of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE) 1Million Tree Campaign.
The Miss Earth South Africa is more than a pageant, it has become a leadership and empowerment programme that was established 22 years ago to help educate, inspire and advocate for change in communities that help to benefit both People and Planet.
Botha is also completing her LLB Law at the North-West University.
Last year, Jessica May Lane, from Australia, was crowned Miss Earth 2024, at a glitzy affair, in Manila.
