Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, is expected to kickstart on Monday, the 11–14 May, in Durban.
The City of eThekwini said the Indaba is a dynamic storytelling platform, filled with great opportunities to uncover, capture, and share.
This year’s programme is expected to centre around the continent’s tourism economy through collaboration, aviation and route development, destination marketing and digital content creation, sports tourism and economic impact as well as tourism leadership and policy alignment.
Makhotso Sotyu, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, is expected to deliver an opening address at the conference, on Monday.
A series of discussions and engagements are expected to stimulate dialogue, collaboration and tourism growth across the continent.
