The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), kicks off on Wednesday, the 04th September until Friday, in Beijing.
China and African nations are expected to renew cooperation to jointly advance modernization and build a high-level community with a shared future.
Heads of African States have arrived in Beijing, but over the weekend, senior government officials met to thrash out factors around the theme, “Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build High-Level China-Africa Community with Shared Future”.
The summit is expected to build on an investment drive in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure, solid minerals, renewable energy and transportation.
