The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality confirmed the fire in Gqeberha is contained although smouldering.
The N2 near the wind farm was also reopened at 9pm on Monday evening.
The City said Fire and Emergency Services teams are on site, dampening the area to discourage flare-ups.
Firefighters are from the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality and the local Fire Protection Association.
Nearby communities are advised to stay alert and report any signs of flare-ups, smoke, or fire activity.
