EDF Renewables South Africa’s Koruson 2 Project, located at the Umsobomvu Wind Farm, reached 500,000 free man hours on Saturday.

The project for Envusa energy, located on the border of the Eastern Cape and the Northern Cape, commenced in March 2024.

The Koruson 2 cluster project has a generation capacity of 520 Megawatts (MW) and is constructed by Envusa Energy.

The project has the Umsobomvu wind project (140 MW), Hartebeesthoek Wind (140 MW), and Mooi Plaats PV (240MW).

EDF Energy said about free man hours reached ” this achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment to health and safety of our entire project team.”
