Agnes Mlambo is the newly appointed Acting Group Executive Distribution, at Eskom, effective from the 1st August 2025.
This is due to Monde Bala’s secondment to the position of an Interim Chief Executive Officer (ICEO), for the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), from 1 August 2025.
Bala will take over from Segomoco Scheppers.
Dan Marokane, Eskom’s Group Chief Executive, said “we are singularly focussed on ensuring we have the executive skills and capacity in place to lead employees to successfully enable Eskom to move at pace and play its full part in delivering a competitive marketplace to benefit consumers and the economy of South Africa as a whole.”
Mlambo has worked for Eskom for 17 years.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and is a qualification Chartered Management Accountant (CA).
