A fire on the mountain slopes of Botes Drive, broke out on Sunday.
The City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service, said firefighters acted on a call received around 08:30 on Sunday morning.
Jermaine Carelse, of the City’s protection services, said several resources were dispatched to the scene.
“The right flank was quickly secured, however the concern is the left flank that is slowly spreading towards Kalkbay.”
On site are Volunteer Wildfire Services and SANParks.
