The atmosphere is somewhat hazy in the Johannesburg City Centre, as companies continue to burn diesel with generators.
This follows a power outage caused by a glitch at the Kerk Street distributor, since Friday afternoon, the 20th June 2025.
City Power’s Isaac Mangena, said over the weekend, the power utility’s technical teams are making headway, to lighten parts of the City Centre.
“Our teams are currently on site executing urgent repair work. Replacement materials have been sourced and dispatched…”
Customers are urged to unplug appliances, until power is restored.
