Meteorologists from the Bureau of Meteorology, say heavy rainfalls and strong winds, in parts of the New South Wales coast, are as a result of a low cut off system.
Areas such as Morton, in the North South Wales coast received about 246mm, Ulladulla (224mm), Fitzroy falls dam (211mm), Roberston (207mm), Willinga lake (204mm), Jerrawangala (201mm), Burrill Lake (196mm) and Lake Conjola (195mm).
The strongest gusts in the last 24 hours, were at the Montague Island (122km/hr), Penrith (104km/hr), Ulladulla (104km/hr), Point Perpendicular and Bellambi (102km/hr).
Rain continues on the Eastern side of the country, while winds are expected to spread to the north-eastern part of the country, until Thursday this week.
