The Gauteng Green Army has just received an outcome from the CCMA, to approach the Labour Department with evidence of its payment discrepancy.

Shaun Manala of the Green Army, said on Wednesday, the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (GDARDE), has been paying employees of the programme- R2,8K a month instead of R7,5K, since the start of the programme, back in May 2023.

Workers of the Green Army, clean up illegal dumping sites, pick up litter and further urban greening in townships, informal settlements and hostels.

Manala said his leadership team, has 2 weeks to implement recommendations of the CCMA.
