Severe thunderstorms at Level 4 are forecast for north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said to expect heavy downpours, large amounts of small hail and strong damaging winds.
Similar yet lesser conditions (at Level 2), are expected over Gauteng, Mpumalanga, eastern parts of the Northern Cape as well as the western parts of the KwaZulu-Natal.
SAWS warned low-lying areas, may be susceptible to floods.
