The Nordex Group in South Africa took to social media recently, expressing excitement, at the arrival of wind turbine blades.
The blades were delivered at the Group’s farm near Impofu Dam, in the Eastern Cape.
The blades are 79 meters long.
The Group said the arrival of the blades marks a significant step in the project’s development progress.
The Group has installed more than 1,100 Megawatts (MW).
There are nine large-scale wind farms in operation, five of these are located in the Eastern Cape, two in the Western Cape and two in the Northern Cape.
