The City of Tshwane announced power was restored on Friday morning, to the Edmund, Skinner and River Substations.
This follows a fire at the Kwagga Substation on Thursday evening.
The City said in an update this morning, its firefighters extinguished the fire overnight, which enabled power to be switched power back on.
The City also said the transformer did not explode, as initially suspected.
The City also said its Pyramid Substation, which was gutted by fire last Wednesday, is now energised, and all ring feeders to the consumer ready.
