Search and recovery efforts continue to find a missing 27-year old man, swept away into the Mlondozi River area, 7 days ago.
Authorities announced the use of drone technology and a helicopter, to assist search efforts in remote areas.
This allowed teams to cover extensive and difficult terrain along the river course towards the eSwatini border fence.
The search mainly focused on the southern watercourse and border area.
The Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality is also appealing to nearby communities along the Nkomazi River and the border, to come forward with any information they may have about the incident.
