The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has warned against damaging waves, at Yellow level 2, from Thursday into Friday, the 18th July 2025.
The SAWS said this will make navigation at sea with small vessels, challenging, from Saldanha Bay to Alexander Bay.
Waves are expected to reach up to 5,5 meters.
This is expected to facilitate high fire danger conditions over the eastern Northern Cape, and extreme western Free State.
