About 20 fruit trees were planted at the Lulama Higher Primary, in Klipspruit, Soweto, this week, through a partnership by Skin Renewal South Africa and the Miss Earth South Africa Leadership Programme.

Set to complement existing school nutrition programmes, the orchard, is expected to provide learners and staff with oranges, lemons, apples and naartjies.

Catherine Constantinides, Director of Miss Earth South Africa, said “our work is about far more than environmental advocacy. It’s about growing leaders, building communities, and creating tangible change—values we proudly share with Skin Renewal. We enjoy working with corporates that walk the journey with us to green, empower and develop community-based programmes.”

Skin Renewal’s Dr. Maureen Allem, agrees.“Founded two decades ago, our organisation has grown to become one of South Africa’s leading aesthetic clinics, recognised not only for innovation in skincare but also for its deep-rooted commitment to social impact. This celebration is a reflection of who we are.”
