Three suspects were found in possession of rhino horn, on Wednesday.
Cape Nature said an intervention by the Directorate for Priority Crimes Investigations (Hawks) assisted by SAPS K9 Unit, as well as the Overberg Stock Theft and Endangered Species, led to the arrest.
The team found suspects were also trying to sell the rhino horns, valued at R258 270.
The suspects, are from Gqeberha, and are aged between 35 and 45 years old- Shaun Barties (41), Christopher Farret (35) and Cheslyn Whitebooi (45).
