Water supply interruptions have officially kicked in around the City of Tshwane Water.
The planned interruptions, began at 8am, on Tuesday, the 10th December, and are scheduled to last until 4pm, this afternoon.
During this time, the Department will carry out planned maintenance work of control valves at the Mamelodi R4 Reservoir Zone in Mamelodi.
Areas affected are: Franspoort 332-JR, Gem Valley Ext 1, 2, 3, 4 and 16, Glenway Estat, Leeuwfontein 299, Leeuwfontein 427-JR, Mahube Valley, Mamelodi, Nooitgedacht and Pienaarspoort.
The City of Tshwane has urged residents to observe ongoing water restrictions, which prohibit the use of hosepipes or sprinkler systems between 06:00 and 18:00, and the filling up of swimming pools.
The City also urged residents to continue using grey water to water gardens and flush toilets.
