Authorities visited Hammanskraal, on Friday, to visit bulk water supply plants.
The visit, comes as residents complain about supply inconsistencies and reliance on own bought water.
This is despite interventions in the area, since 2025.
Pemmy Majodina, the Minister of Water and Sanitation (DWS) and David Mahlobo, the Deputy Minister, led several government departments to the town.
Jacob Mamabolo, the MEC of infrastructure in Gauteng, alongside Dr Nasiphi Moya, the Mayor of Tshwane, were part of the delegation.
They all inspected the Renstown, Temba and Babelegi Reservoirs.
The DWS said the chief aim of the visit, was to stabilize water supply networks and ensure reliable access to safe drinking water, for Hammanskraal communities.
The oversight also focused on progress towards the completion of the Klipdrift Package Plant project, which is expected to supply 50 megalitres of potable water, to parts of Hammanskraal.
The project is nearing completion, and inspections assessed the readiness of the receiving infrastructure to distribute quality water to communities.
