The City of Ekurhuleni published a schedule for the maintenance of bulk water infrastructure, over 9 days.
The first round starts on Sunday, 07 December until Monday, 15 December.
The maintenance will affect areas on different days, including Edenvale, Bedfordview, Germiston, Thembisa, Kempton Park, Benoni, Wattville, Springs, Brakpan, Kwa-Thema, Vosloorus, Eden Park and Boksburg.
The city said it would deploy water tankers to affected areas.
