Road users are urged to avoid Addo Road and consider alternative routes, as 50 disgruntled community members are protesting and burning tyres, near Addo Road, near the Wells Estate, part of the Nelson Mandela Metro.
Sthembiso Soyaya, Spokesperson of the Metro, said motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when traveling near Addo Road.
“Addo Road is currently affected and may become increasingly unsafe or impassable. Disruptions are expected to continue until further notice” said Soyaya.
