Some hiking trails under the management of Cape Nature, will be closed overnight, due to inclement weather.
Cape Nature said picnic sites will also be closed at Bird Island and Cederberg Wilderness (25–27 June 2025), Groot Winterhoek, Jonkershoek, Assegaaibosch, and Hottentots Holland (25–29 June 2025) and Limietberg (25–30 June 2025).
Maxine Bezuidenhout, Spokesperson of Traffic Services at the City of Cape Town,said there are a number of road closures, due rainfall today.
She said there is a widespread flooding of roadways and as a result, road users should be cautious.
