44 000 litres of diesel on the N12
About 44 000 litres of diesel were spilled on the N12 yesterday, in a tanker crash.
The road was closed for hours during clean-up.

3 lions were spotted on the N10 at Olifantskop Pass by SA Truck.
Motorists are advised not to leave vehicles anywhere around the area.

Over 75 trees planted in Mdantsane
Siseko Yelani said 75 trees were planted by his team, in just 2 months.
This has exceeded the set target of planting 65 trees in the township of Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape.
Trees were planted in the Zethu Myeki Recreational Park.

Tshwane has an Agri Master Plan
AgriSA, City of City of Tshwane and its economic development arm (TEDA) hosted a 2 day Agro/Agri processing workshop themed: “Food security and Agricultural Production in Tshwane’s rural development context.”
The workshop was to establish an Agri Master Plan for Tshwane.
Dr Lardo Stander, CEO at TEDA said there is a need for robust conversations around the agricultural sector, and its need to provide evidence-based information that can be used to progress the sector.
The event was also attended by PwC South Africa, Tshwane University of Technology, Gauteng Department of Agriculture Land Reform & Rural Development, and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
