Meteorologists are attributing this week’s weather forecast, to a cut-off low pressure system, underway, West of South Africa.
As a result, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned against possible flooding of roads, settlements and low-lying areas in the Eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, western and interior parts of KZN on Monday.
High fire danger conditions persist, as temperatures continue to rise, on Monday, in the North Western parts of the Eastern Cape, western parts of the Free-State and the Northern Cape’s Dawid Kruiper Municipality.
Thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, excessive lightning and damaging winds, might affect the northern, central and eastern parts of Namibia, western parts of the Western Cape and the central parts of the country, including the east-North Cape, the Free State, west-North West, interior of both Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday.
The Overberg and Garden Route Disticts might have heavy rains and thunderstorms from Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Storms can also affect the northern, central and eastern parts of Namibia as well and central and south-eastern parts of SA (east-NC, FS, west-NW, east- EC and KZN-interior) on Thursday.
