The Vala Zonke campaign is in full swing in the Northern Cape, repairing roads damaged by recent floods.

It belongs to the Department of Roads and Public Works.

Work underway  is the mending of potholes along Dr. Izak van Niekerk Street in Bergsig, in the Namaqua District.

The Department said in its social pages, the campaign is a labour-intensive initiative, focused on restoring road networks—one pothole at a time.

“This national rollout represents a bold and coordinated response to road maintenance, forming part of an integrated and results-driven plan to improve road safety, accessibility, and driving conditions for all” added the Department.
