The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality said water will be released as scheduled to supply the Scheepersvlakte Dam, on Monday.
This water is expected to reach the dam by midday on Tuesday, the 13 May.
As a result, supply is expected to return to normal from Nooitgedagt Water Treatment Works.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM) said it has implemented several operational changes that are gradually improving the system’s recovery in the Motherwell Reservoir,
Chelsea Reservoir Zone, Bethelsdorp Reservoir (Aspen Heights, Heathpark), Skoenmakerskop Pump Station and Greenbushes Reservoir Zone.
