Residents of Johannesburg are expecting low pressure to no water at all, in some areas, due to scheduled maintenance of infrastructure, on Thursday, the 03rd April 2025.
The first stop is the Zuikerbosch Plant, scheduled to affect the Palmiet Pumping Station directly.
Johannesburg Water, said as a result, the station will function at a 89% of its capacity for at least 8,5 hours.
The Palmiet System supplies water to Midrand, Sandton, South Hills and the Alexander Park systems.
The second round of planned maintenance is next week, to affect the Daleside pumping station for 8 hours
