Residents receiving water from the Lower Thukela Waterworks, will have no water for 12 hours on Monday, the 24th February 2025, from 6am until 6pm.
uMngeni-uThukela Water Board said this is due to emergency repairs on the gravity pipeline.
The Water Board said the pipeline has leaks that lead to losses at the command reservoir.
Leaks on the pipeline and scours need to be repaired to ensure water supply assurance.
Areas with no water on Monday are
Zinkwazi, San Sounci, Darnall, Lindelani, Nonoti, Blythedale, Saunders Reservoir,Glenhills, Warrenton, Stanger Manor, High Ridge, Shakaville, Townview, Mbozamo, Honolulu Reservoir, Groutville, Ntshawini and Melville.
