Two suspects aged aged 18 and 28, were arrested for stolen copper cables.
They were found inside a shack in possession of cables, valued at R13 500.
They were arrested by the Fezile Dabi Infrastructure Task Team, working together with the Fezile Dabi Trio.
Police said they acted on information received at approximately 16:00 on the day of their arrest.
They are expected to appear before the Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
Two others, aged 32, were found in possession of suspected stolen property after failing to provide a satisfactory explanation for their possession of the items, at the Cargo Informal Settlement.
