Establishments along the Sani Pass, situated between KwaZulu Natal and Lesotho, shared videos of light snow in the area, on Saturday.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned against disruptive rain (Level 2) on Saturday.

Rain is forecast for parts of Kwazulu-Natal’s  South Coast. 

SAWS also said about 30-50mm of rainfall can be expected on Saturday, making low lying areas, including informal settlements and bridges at risk of localized flooding.
