The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) has given an account of its participation at the African Development Bank Group’s 2025 Annual Meetings in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Themed “Making Africa’s Capital Work Better for Africa’s Development,” this event was attended by African heads of state, ministers, and financial leaders.
Its aim is to discuss unlocking capital for investment into transformative projects, non-traditional finance and funding Green projects.
DBSA’s Zeph Nhleko, Chief Economist, Olympus Manthata, and Harold Mogale shared strategies to position DFIs as climate finance enablers through green bank models.
A Partnership Framework was signed by Boitumelo Mosako, CEO of DBSA, with founding partners, to mobilise investment into transformative projects.
DBSA also received two awards from AIAFD / AADFI for Capacity Building and Institutional Performance (PSGRS Rating).
