Water supply in most areas of eThekwini, is expected to be restored, on the 1st of April.
This is as a result of delays in completing the Southern Aqueduct shutdown, which was to be completed by Tuesday morning.
The eThekwini Municipality said technical teams are still on site attending to the pipeline works.
Once completed, the maintenance is expected to strengthen water security, reduce system losses and improve long-term supply reliability for communities in the southern and central regions.
